Rainy Saturday
Today I went to visit my cousin and gave her one of our first ‘knit-kits’ for her birthday. It’s to make a purple and black scarf and I started her off already. I am looking forward to seeing the results. I WILL get everybody in my family to love knitting!
I didn’t have much time left over for knitting today but did part of a little cupcake that I’m making. I will post the picture up here when I’m done!
I’m thinking about going to the Shugborough Craft and Food fair tomorrow, but if it’s still raining I may not bother.
I wore my new knitted shoes today (which I didn’t make), and they were very cosy.

We’re on Ravelry!
It’s Friday, yay! Our main news today is that we’ve now got our Ravelry account (theknittedcupcake)! We haven’t quite got around to updating our prifile but hopefully we’ll get lots of things sorted over the weekend.
It’s Children in Need night tonight so we will be watching that. We baked cakes for Pudsey Bear, but not sure how much we raised…still feel very sick though.
Sooooo glad it’s the weekend now and I can knit!

New Enterprise
Claire and I are soon to launch our new enterprise- the knitted cupcake.
We’re not sure exactly what the enterprise will be yet, but it will involve yarn, fun and more yarn! We’ve recently started to dabble in pattern designing so we’ll be seeing how that goes. We are going to be posting about some knitting projects and will look forward to hearing from other knitters.
